Macy’s new loss-prevention, to install peeping Tom holes in all fitting room doors…currently implementing

Most people who secretly watch others undress find their way onto Megan’s list.  But if you do it long enough you could get promoted to Assistant to the Regional Manager.  Retail across the country is in trouble, with this insanely bad economy people are not buying and worse stealing.  So Macy’s had a bright idea, install one way mirrors in all the changing room doors.  This means the person in the changing room can’t see out but someone standing close to the door can see in.

Macy’s acknowledged installing the doors backward as a loss-prevention method.

“Retailers work hard to strike a balance between preserving the privacy of customers, providing customer service, maintaining customer safety in fitting rooms, and deterring the theft of merchandise,” said Melissa Goff, Vice President of Media Relations & Cause Marketing at Macy’s.

The company appears to have been installing privacy blinds backward for a number of years all across the country, whenever state law allows it.

Just wait now every fat creepy craigslist guy will be strip dancing in
